Quick Thoughts
Lord help me I feel overloaded! School, work, church.......the list goes on and on. I feel fortunate however, there are many that do not have a job, a church, or an opportunity to further their education especially at my age. I pray that Jesus finds you all well!

What a ride!
Wow where has all the time gone! With the medical program I am in, cardiopulmonary, my recent life has been inundated with lots of clinical work in the hospitals and a ton of studying. I know that God will see me through this, and when the season is finished I will be able to work the fields that the Lord has laid before me!

It's Time!
Miracles, Miracles, Miracles! Only Jesus can make the things possible that we have experienced this week. Although there is alot of uncertainty floating around, the almighty still answers definitively. New people are coming to the church, lives are being changed daily, prayers being answered, and the presence of Jehovah God is strong in every service! We are blessed!

Hello to all my friends and blog Followers
I'd like to thank everyone who visits this blog. I believe that the Lord has called us all together for a time such as this. It is a perilous time we live in spiritually and we all should bind together in one mind and one accord. I like to get to know each of you so if you would leave your name and email or something about you in the comment section.
God Bless,

Spiritual Warfare
(the following is a message I taught last wed night. It is more or less a commentary of where the apostolic church is and how we need to prepare for the impending battle)
Joel 3
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I [am] strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness [is] great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD [is] near in the valley of decision.
At this time Israel had been scattered abroad due to this disobedience.
The mighty tribe of Judah’s children has been sold as slaves,
her land divided amongst the gentile nations.
Her armies disbanded,
the great warriors settled into a life of farming, fishing, carpentry and so on.
Israel had been lulled to sleep as a great famine had swept across the land.
In her weakest moment invading armies were coming to plunder once again.
A great prophet Joel got a word from God calling for repentance, and for the once great armies to arise from their slumber and prepare for battle!
“Proclaim this among the gentiles,
Prepare for war,
wake up you mighty men of GOD,
Just like Israel, our people were mighty warriors in Christ;
we have fought against and defeated many spiritual foes.
But the battle that has stretched many generations has exhausted its saints.
Some of our children just like Judah have been enslaved by the world.
Our warriors have fell into slumber, enjoying the comforts of “peace”.
The shields of intercessararies have been laid down.
The swords of the word no longer sharpened.
I’ve come to tell you tonight, an enemy approaches,
wake up ye saints of old, raise your shields in defense, sharpen your swords, and let us all repent unto the Lord.
Looking at the current times and seeing all that surrounds us every day
the enemy is at the gate and we are at war!
We are at war with those who want to take away our rights to pray openly just as they did in Daniel’s day.
We are at war with those who seek to draw our young away with “bigger and better entertainment “instead of spiritual growth.
Since the beginning of the church age we apostolic have been the misunderstood and always thought of as out of touch.
Out of touch with the goings on of the world, but folks we have a mainline to Jesus.
Should we be closed off to new things, no,
but we must tread carefully and not be absorbed into the world.
Jesus told us that we must be in the world but not of it.
We must defeat this spirit of competitiveness that wants to homogenize us to be like everyone else.
We are at war with the spirit that harbor discord with the men of God.
This spirit is nothing but divisive and gains nothing more than self edification at the cost of winning souls. Those that we are charged in feeing are listening.
Jesus said this in Mathew 10
24The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. 25It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
The lord placed the men of God here and gave them authority,
we should honor that.
If we speak ill of our Sheppards, how much more should others speak of us.
We should pray the Lords anointing upon them and ask for God’s protective hedge around them.
Satan’s greatest attack is always against the man of God.
If we aren’t armor bearers
If we don’t lift them in prayer then who will?
Revival is coming folks,
the sights of satan are set on the leaders of the church,
are you prepared
Here we stand in the time that the bible says we will have some of the greatest revivals and soul winnings that the world has ever known.
This as we all should know by now will come at a cost.
Satan will not stand by and just watch meekly,
his war trumpets are already sounding and getting ready to unleash his hardest attack ever,
and he is going to strike where we are weakest.
Satan is at war with the saints, make no mistake.
So why shouldn’t we arm ourselves?
Are we praying enough? Are we intercessing for others? Are we praying at all?
Do we come to the alters to lay hands on the sick, and pray for the needy?
Are we fasting?
Are we watching what we allow in our minds, our homes? Are we protecting our children from the things that seeks to destroy them
Are we being faithful in attendance? Are we teaching our children the value of serving God
Are we out building the Lords army through recruitment i.e. bible studies, outreach, ect
Are we studying the word and sharpening our swords? Or just getting the word on Sundays and Wednesday?
The sword is a spiritual sword not a literal one.
Often times people think that being meek means not taking up arms against evil around them but that isn’t the case.
Just listen to what Paul says against preparing for war in the spirit.
Eph 6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Here Paul is speaking about arming ourselves with defensive armor, but the Lord also calls us to be offensive is His battle plans.
Now I have heard it spoken “I’ve fought my battles, and I’m tired, it’s someone else’s turn”
I refer you to Numbers:
numb 32:
6 And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?
Will you sit here as people are spiritually dying all around you?
Will you watch while the devil reaps in the fields we should be working?
There are around 5 billion people in this world, less than a third of which claims to be saved Christians.
Roughly 3 billion people are condemned to spiritual death unless we take up arms.
Matthew 11:12 “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”
We need soul winning warriors in the house of God
The fields are white, but the laborers are few
We need to go on the Offense and push back satan
Offensive war is a controversial topic but when it comes to spiritual war the Lord was very clear:
Mat 10
34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
Jesus verifies this again in Matthew 10:
21 and the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child, and the children shall rise up against their parents and cause them to be put to death.
How many here knows that sometimes the greatest battle we ever have to fight often times is in our own households.
Especially when there are those of us that have loved ones that have fallen away from the truth.
How can we be on the offense without being “offensive”.
The greatest weapon we wield is love.
Swing the sword of truth with love. Paul said it earlier in Ephesians:
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
We need to speak boldly the word, under the anointing of God.
Judging only the spirit and not the person.
Love has always been the example that we have been given.
By which the correction of sin is performed
John 15:9-14 9 “As the father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my father’s commandments, and abide in His love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you that joy may remain in you, and that you joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment that ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.”
Just look at Jesus and how he handled addressing the woman at the well.
He never judged her, but rather the sin she was in
Never chastised her, but brought forth the truth with love
And she went forth with joy.
Your love can win many battles that a harsh word never could!
Finally, we are at war with the spirit of fear.
We should not fear anything that is not of God.
God never gave us the spirit of fear of worldly dangers, only of Him
Jesus spoke of the battle that all soul winners must face and this is what he said of fear:
Matthew 10:28 “and fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear him which is able to destroy both the soul and body in hell.
In closing, I am reminded of the battle of David and Goliath. Davids father sent him to bring food to the soldiers on the battle field. When david arrived he saw the mighty army hiding behind trees and trembling with fear. Goliath was hurling insults against the God of Israel.
Sam 17
26 And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?
27 And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him.
28 ¶ And Eli'ab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eli'ab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
29 And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?
There will be those that taunt you,
That are sent to discourage you, and lay heavy burdens upon you
But I charge you with that same question: Is there not a cause?
Prepare for war,
wake up you mighty men of GOD
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD [is] near in the valley of decision.
Joel 3
